Elin Nordegren is hoping to save her marriage to Tiger Woods because she doesn’t want to raise their two children without a father. “Elin wants a solid family life,” a Florida source tells PEOPLE. “She was a child of divorce and felt her dad slighted her. She absolutely does not want that to happen to Sam and Charlie. So she wants to keep her family together even if she and Tiger live together as friends instead of lovers.” During the past week, Nordegren, 30, reportedly visited her husband at the Gentle Path sexual addiction clinic in Hattiesburg, Miss., where he has been getting treatment. Elin is also rumored to be hanging at the crib of another high-profile athlete – Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre.

One of the fastest-selling American singles of all time is getting re-recorded for a good cause. 

 ”The Hollywood Reporter’s” Showbiz 411 blog reports that Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie plan to update “We Are The World” to raise funds for relief efforts in Haiti. 

Jones and Richie — who were both integral to the original — are attempting to persuade artists to stay in Los Angeles after next weekend’s GRAMMY Awards for a massive recording session at the Nokia Theater on February 1st.  To date, invited guests for “We Are The World 2010″ include Usher, John Legend, and Natalie Cole.  

Proceeds from both the single and the video will benefit Haitian relief efforts.
